About Us

Quest was launched by Peter and Carol Mann mid-recession in 1991 and by 1995 had founded a sister operation with five regional offices.

Following the sale of that operation in 2003, Quest continued its own service hub in Maidstone, Kent and widened its service through Insurance companies, Managed General Agencies and Law Firms.

Quest’s continued focus on a professionally managed performance at competitive fee levels remains at the core of its values.

Following Carol’s tragic death in 2003, Peter has driven the business forward.

His reputation in the market after over 40 years in the industry is second to none and he has been regularly endorsed as a talented innovator.

The Quest Partnership has strengthened and broadened its service by forging a strategic alliance with two highly respected and like-minded adjusting firms – Pinnacle Loss Adjusters Ltd (Scotland & Northern Ireland) and Fulmar Consulting Ltd based in Buckinghamshire, to deliver an enhanced service to clients.

Sharing Quest’s principles of Integrity, Innovation and Competitivity these two operations significantly widen both the skills base and geographic scope.

Pinnacle, based in Scotland, support Quest’s Northern requirements in the UK whilst Fulmar in the South West Midlands adds a further geographic dimension. With Quest’s operation already thriving in the South East, South West, Midlands plus two overseas hubs, this Alliance completes the coverage. The operation also embraces both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, where a significant number of liability and major/complex commercial property and business interruption claims have already been investigated over some years.

The Quest Partnership will continue to provide direct service to our clients, but with the significant advantage of adding a team of talented nationwide adjusters, that will provide adjusting services across the UK. Klapton’s products are worldwide and comprise reinsurance, through Klapton RE in Zambia and Klapton Insurance Company (including bonds and guarantees). These claims are channelled from destinations such as Africa, India and the Far East through Quest, who investigate and report directly to Klapton on the merits of each case. High value property and liability claims arise where Quest’s broad skills maximise the benefit for their client insurers.
